How do I order?
Q: I want every colour in each size, some with and some without stones. Is that possible?
A: Yes
You can have any combination of colours and sizes that you would like and any quantity of wands in each colour.
How to do this is you add each colour to your cart one at a time.
First select the size you want, with stones or without stones. Then select the colour and quantity. Add it to your cart. Then repeat this process for each additional colour. Once you have all the colours and sizes you wanted then checkout your cart. You can add as many items to your cart as you wish.
How do I install Windsticks?
Q: How do I install Windsticks?
A: Install them one at a time. Hold each wand with both hands, place your hands down lower towards the bottom of the wand (as they are flexible and you need to be able to control the angle you push them into the ground).
Push them into the ground one at a time.
You will feel resistance when the wand has gone into the ground as deep as you can push it. When that happens that is right depth.
If your ground is stoney I drill a hole and slot the wand into the hole, one wand at a time.
Start from the centre of the display and work your way out. If you have both 3m and 2m install the 3m first as the center of the display and the 2m around them. Remember the angle you push them into the ground is the angle they are going to sit at so pay attention to that.
If you get one angle wrong, just pull it out and try again until you are happy.
Gift Wrapping
Q: I would like to gift these to a loved one. Is that possible to send directly to them?
A: Yes.
We can even gift wrap your order and write a card with your message.
Ship your order directly to your loved one.
You are updated with track and trace by email and text to your cellphone from Owens Transport (Mainfreight group).
You know where your order is every step of the way:
- when it has been picked up
- when it has left the Christchurch depot
- when it arrived at the delivery depot
- when it is out for delivery
- when it has been delivered
If you are ordering for Christmas I put an extra sign on the parcel (as per the photo) to make sure your loved one knows not to open the parcel until Christmas Day.
Can you courier Windsticks?
Q: Can you courier? I need them tomorrow!
A: No.
Windsticks are 2m and 3m long. No courier in New Zealand will take a parcel longer than 1.8m because the cargo pods they pack on to the plane are only 1.8m long.
Windsticks go by road freight. They drive on a truck up State Highway One from Christchurch and cross the Cook Straight Ferry.
I ship with Owens Transport with is part of Mainfreight. Non rural (and non remote delivery) Shipping is generally 3 working days after it has been picked up.
Owens/Mainfreight have a faster service to Wellington, Hamilton and Auckland which cost an additional $50 (approx). If you would like to enquire about this service please contact me.
You could also pick them up from the closest Mainfreight depot which would save one working day on non rural shipping and may even save a week on rural shipping. Depot pick up is approx 1-2 days from the time it leaves me.
Can I pick up?

How do I do this?
A: Yes you can pick up from Sydenham, Christchurch.
We have click and collect built into the website.
- You select 'pick up' when you order.
- You can pay by visa, bank transfer, or cash on pick up
- select pick up when ordering and choose a day and time for collection.
- Note full pick up address is given out after ordering
