2m Windsticks – Aramax (for non-rural areas)
3m Windsticks and all rural freight – Owens Transport
Aramax Couriers are able to deliver 2m Windsticks to addresses designated as non-rural.
For 3m Windsticks or any deliveries to rural locations, Owens Transport will be utilised. Please note that Aramax classifies certain remote regions—including Takaha, Raglan, Lawrence, and Waiheke Island—as rural, as these parcels are transferred to Courier Post for final delivery.

If you are ordering only 2m Windsticks and your address is listed as rural on this website, your order must be shipped via Owens/Mainfreight.
Owens Transport offers road freight services along State Highway One and across the Cook Strait Ferry. Non-rural deliveries generally arrive within 2–3 working days of dispatch.
Additionally, Owens/Mainfreight provides an expedited delivery service to Wellington, Hamilton, and Auckland for an estimated additional charge of $50. For further information regarding this option, please contact us directly.
Rural delivery typically takes 4-11 days, depending on your location, with some remote areas receiving deliveries only once a week.
For faster service and to avoid rural delivery fees, you can choose to collect your parcel from the nearest Mainfreight depot during checkout.
Owens, part of the Mainfreight group, will call the receiver before delivery, so please provide their phone number. The sender will receive email and text updates on tracking.
If sending Windsticks as a gift, I can offer gift wrapping and a personalised card.
Gift Wrapping
We gift wrap the entire 2m or 3m length for you and can send your order directly to your loved one, including a card with your message.
If you are purchasing an item as a gift, the process includes sending automated track and trace updates to your email address and cellphone as the parcel is delivered to the recipient.
Updates are provided when the parcel:
- is packed,
- is picked up,
- departs from Owens Transport
- Christchurch branch,
- arrives at the recipient's local branch,
- goes out for delivery,
- and is delivered.
